ARTIST MANIFESTO
I am a Persian artist, shaped by heritage, memory, and the desire to transform tradition into the language of today. My practice is rooted in over a decade of classical training, yet I refuse to be bound by it. I use the techniques of the masters as a foundation to push towards new visions.
My work is an exploration of fluidity: the shapes of anatomy become abstracted, stretched, and reborn as symbols. Persian calligraphy flows through my compositions - its curves, lines, and silences are interwoven with the human form, creating a dialogue between body and language, between identity and expression.
I was raised in Dubai, a city built on crossroads and contrasts, where culture is constantly reinvented. Later, at Central Saint Martins, I honed my practice with a global perspective, learning to speak to contemporary art without losing my roots. My collection Iran (2021) was first shown in Dubai, a testament to memory and nostalgia; the following year, it was presented virtually in Monaco, bringing this dialogue into the digital space.
Now, through my bachelor’s degree at the Jimmy Choo Academy, I am expanding my practice into fashion — treating fabric as canvas, clothing as sculpture, and the body as a moving work of art. My paintings and designs share a common language: the pursuit of beauty through fluidity, symbolism, and rebellion against boundaries.
My art is a declaration: to honor what is inherited, to reinvent what is learned, and to create work that exists between worlds where the past is not just preserved, but transformed.
